The assignment require us to create a logo, and use it to make a short logo animation using Adobe After Effects.
First of all, I begin with thinking what name I should use for my logo. I thought of using "Chewman" as my logo name, because "Chew" is my real name, and some of my friend actually call me "Chewman" in Cantonese, which means "Superman" in english.
After that I start composing the structure and design of my logo in Adobe Illustrator.
this is the prototype of my logo. The pacman-like shape logo is actually the letter 'G' of font Bifurk, while the other shape is the letter 'M' of font Disco Deck.
Next, I start modifying the logo. I decided to use Magenta as the main color.
I also playing with different color palette and try some different gradient to give some depth of field.

After I done all the coloring, I adjust the position of the symbol "C" and "M".
And yes, this is the final outcome of my personal logo. I am quite satisfied by the result.
After that, I import my logo to the Adobe After Effect and start animating the logo animation.
And here's the result of it:
The logo animation idea was inspired by the game "Pacman".
